I headed back into the house and down the corridor to the door which led to the basement room. As I walked down, I felt chills and couldn’t imagine how scared and cold Jess must have been as she was kept here naked.

I walked down and over to the bed where she had lain. It shook me and I found myself shivering with fear over what could have happened to her. I didn’t get any flashes of images or visions though, so I turned and moved to the man lying dead on the floor.

‘T’ had been stabbed several times. He had clearly died from massive blood loss as the stab wounds had punctured his heart and lungs. I knew I shouldn’t, but I wanted to find Jess so I decided to do something I wasn’t meant to. I put my hand down gingerly towards where the knife lay-still in T’s chest. I gently touched the knife and in an instant, I was launched into a vision of just what had happened during the time that Jess had been left with T alone in this basement.
